The main purpose of co-curricular athletics is for students to develop their God-given abilities and interests as well as their application of Christian principles in competitive activities. It also serves as a way for the students to learn to work with others in a God-pleasing way.
Athletic teams are the avenue which students use and develop their gifts to glorify him, learn team play, and sportsmanship. These principles are nurtured in our students. They are given opportunity to actively participate in the areas of the school in which God has blessed and gifted them.
When we allow grade seven and eight students to try out for the teams we afford them the opportunity to glorify God with their gifts, develop their God-given gifts (as they are called to do) and to represent our school as ambassadors of the Christian faith.
