Welcome to King Christian School
Education in Jesus’ Name
Christian education goes beyond academics to help children develop a sense of who they are and who God created them to be. The elementary school years from JK to grade 8 are key years for developing that foundation of faith, which will allow them to make good choices when they move into high school and beyond.
At King Christian School, our purpose is to provide a quality, interdenominational, Christ-centred education wherein each student may grow in grace, wisdom, knowledge, and wonder. This will enable them to responsibly serve God and others in all areas of life. Our mission is to work together as staff, students, and supporting community to provide a Christ-centred education in an interdenominational school.
Biblical perspective is interwoven in every aspect of the curriculum as well as our school community. Parents of our students know that they have a voice in their children’s education and that they are truly heard. Children feel safe and have the confidence that comes from making friends who are like them in faith and in life while receiving an excellent academic education. Everything we do, from our curriculum to tuition structure and teacher contract negotiations is derived from biblical principles.
King Christian School welcomes new families, guests, and friends from all ethnicities and Christian faiths. Our community is supported by over 30 churches in our local area, and families from other churches are also embraced.
Our Legacy of Christian Education
Our school has been providing quality Christian education since 1943 under the name of Holland Marsh District Christian School. September 2015 marked a new beginning in our journey with the opening of our new school and our name change to King Christian School. We look forward to welcoming new families into our community as we continue to build a bright future.
